This service is for non-emergency requests.

What's new?


Rushcliffe is introducing online access to your GP surgery. By using this service, you can contact your surgery about non-urgent matters, for example:

  • Request a doctors letter

  • Request a fit (sick) note

  • Ask a question about a referral

  • Request a repeat prescription

  • Ask for test results

  • Or any other admin queries

How does it work?

You can access this feature through the NHS App or through your practice website.
To find out more about the NHS App and how to download it, click here.

You can type a request to your surgery and attach images, choose how you would like your surgery to reply to your message and submit it.

Your surgery will respond appropriately with a response to your request.

How do I access it?

  1. Open and log into your NHS App

  2. Select 'Messages' in the bottom right hand corner

  3. Scroll down to 'Ask your GP surgery a question'

  4. Select 'Ask a question or send a request'

  5. Continue through the pages about how Accurx provides this service

  6. Check what you are requesting is not an emergency

  7. Use the Online Access system
