The Summer Challenge is now finished!

The Rushcliffe Autumn Challenge encourages people to get out this spring and engage in activities to boost your wellbeing.

Attend 9 activities, receiving a sticker at each, and win a prize!

The Autumn challenge will end on the 30th November 2024, and the Winter Challenge will follow!

Sticker booklets are provided on completion of first activity. 

If your first activity is any of the following: Nordic Style Sauna Dip, parkrun, 10,000 steps, or Ramblers Wellbeing Walks at Lady Bay and Rushcliffe Country Park please contact smelvin@rushcliffe.gov.uk for your sticker booklet.

Looking for a fun and relaxing way to unwind, get creative and meet new people? Join us for a range of friendly, informal creative sessions, including willow weaving, mindful colouring, arts and crafts workshops, watercolours and more. Whether you’re new to creative activities or already enjoy getting creative, these sessions are open to all abilities and no previous experience is needed. It’s a chance to try something new, connect with like-minded people and enjoy some time for yourself in a relaxed and welcoming environment. All materials and equipment will be provided.

Looking for simple ways to move more, improve your wellbeing and meet new people? Let's Get Active brings together friendly, local activities that make it easy to enjoy the outdoors while supporting your physical and mental health.

 

From gentle walks and gardening to outdoor fitness, nature-based activities and spending time by the water, there's something for everyone. Being active outdoors can help reduce stress, boost your mood, improve your fitness and help you feel more connected to your local community.

No special skills or experience are needed - just come along, give it a try and discover how getting active can help you live well.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, share your skills, learn something new and make a positive difference in your local community. Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to support others, or are looking for a way to get more involved, there are lots of ways to volunteer that can suit your interests, skills and availability.

 

We’re always looking for friendly volunteers to help support the Social Prescribing Community Hub. Whether you’d like to welcome attendees, help with activities, share your skills or simply be part of creating a warm and welcoming space for local residents, we’d love to hear from you.

Connect, share and support one another

Join Our Peer Support & Self-Care Sessions

 

Sometimes it helps to talk to people who understand what you’re going through. Our friendly peer support sessions bring people together to share experiences, have open conversations and support one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you’re looking to connect with others, learn from shared experiences or simply have a space to talk and listen, our sessions offer a chance to feel understood and less alone. There’s no pressure to share - just come along, meet others and take part at your own pace. Our programme includes Alcohol Peer Support, Menopause Café, Pain Café and more.
